Fan (Eric) Feng
Visiting Professor
Department of Art, University at Buffalo

Fan (Eric) Feng is assistant professor and deputy chair of the Department of Painting, Academy of Arts and Design, at Tsinghua University. Professor Feng is well-known at UB as the Tsinghua faculty director of the UB-Tsinghua art exchange and as a participant in UB Department of Art symposia. In fall 2020, Professor Feng is teaching two online courses–Basic Painting and Introduction to Chinese Art–in anticipation of an in-person visiting professor position at UB in 2021.

 

Hongyan Gao
Chinese Language/Culture Teacher
St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute

Hongyan Gao has a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Anyang Normal Capital University. She has served as a Chinese Teacher and Editor of School Magazines at Songyang Senior High School before coming to Buffalo.

 

Dongmei Lyu
Chinese Language/Culture Teacher
Lewiston Porter School District

Dongmei Lyu has a Bachelor of Teaching Chinese as a Foregin Language Degree from Gannan Normal University.  She comes from Jiangxi Yangming Primary School, where she has taught Chinese for the past 6 years. She has also taught Chinese to primary, junior high and high school students at Sarawittaya School in Bangkok, Thailand.

 

Ruiyao (Grace) Wang
Visiting Professor of Chinese Language
Department of Linguistics, University at Buffalo

Professor Ruiyao (Grace) Wang is  Visiting J-1 Professor in the Chinese Language Program in the UB Department of Linguistics, where she has been teaching since January 2018. Beginning in September 2020, she concurrently serves as Interim Associate Director of the UB Confucius Institute. While serving in Buffalo, she is on leave from her position as Associate Professor in the College English Department at Capital Normal University, where she has twice received the Outstanding Teacher Award (2015 and 2016).
