Register Now for Spring 2021 Language Classes!
All spring 2021 classes will begin online. We will only resume in-person classes when it is allowed and students are comfortable returning to the classroom.

Tuition: $300 for 15 weeks. Course materials included.
(Some students may wish to purchase other accompanying textbooks.)
Spring 2021 courses:
Beginning Chinese (Level 1b: 1st year, 2nd semester)
Mondays, beginning February 1
6:00-8:00 pm
Online / UB Commons, Suite 113 (once classes resume in person)
Builds basic speaking, listening, reading and writing skills for work, travel or educational enrichment.
Second-year Chinese (Level 2b: 2nd year, 2nd semester)
Tuesdays, beginning February 2

A listening, speaking, reading, and writing course for students with advanced beginner to low intermediate knowledge of Chinese.
Third-year Chinese (Level 3b: 3rd year, 2nd semester)
Wednesdays, beginning February 3

A listening, speaking, reading, and writing course for students with intermediate knowledge of Chinese.
Advanced Chinese (Level 4b: 4th year, 2nd semester)
Thursdays, beginning February 4
6:00-8:00 pm

A listening, speaking, reading, and writing course for students with high intermediate to advanced knowledge of Chinese.
Curriculum
- Adapted from the curriculum of the UB Chinese Language Program and uniquely designed for our weekly evening classes.
Our teachers can evaluate your language ability to determine appropriate placement.
- All courses are taught by experienced native speakers.
- Classes are designed for adult learners. High school students are welcome.
- Instruction emphasizes communication and develops the four fundamental skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing
- Courses meet 6:00-8:00pm, beginning online in fall 2020.
- Once classes resume in person, they will be held in the Confucius Institute office suite (113 UB Commons)
- Convenient parking is available in the UB Furnas Lot.
