Helen McCabe has collaborated with professionals, families and organizations in China over the past 30 years to develop and expand opportunities for children with autism. In this talk, Professor McCabe shares the background and current context of education for children with autism in China, based on her experience volunteering, working, and researching in this field.

Helen McCabe is associate professor of education at Daemen College, where she focuses on early childhood and childhood special education. She has provided training and support to thousands of families and teachers in China as co-founder and executive director of The Five Project for International Autism and Disability Support.
