About

The UB Confucius Institute plays three major roles at UB and in the community:

  1. To help develop and strengthen Chinese language programs
  2. To foster a better understanding of Chinese cultural traditions and contemporary China
  3. To develop and support China-related academic research and artistic production.

We encourage you to learn more about our programs, mission, history, and valuable partners.

MY CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE STORY
In 2019, the UB Confucius Institute invited students who have been involved in our programs to submit essays about their Chinese language learning and the impact it has had on their lives and educations. The Confucius Institute published these essays in a collection entitled My Confucius Institute Story.
